Thank you for supporting Hollis Crossings 2021!

It was so good to have kids back at Hollis this summer!

We hosted three weeks of camp, one week from Holy Cross Lutheran and two weeks that Hollis sponsored…with all of your help.

The theme of our week was “Travelers” as we try to follow Jesus along our journeys.

We gave scholarships to camp to kids from Metro Lutheran Ministries and a Congolese Refugee Church
that meets at the Gathering Table. All of the kids loved camp, there was even one family that attended both weeks!

What gives me hope is seeing all these kids come from different neighborhoods, different economic backgrounds, very different life experiences and yet they find friendship and faith together. The will remember the acceptance they felt when welcomed by
their counselor. They will remember the song they sang, standing up and with actions, that reminded them they are
Saved by Grace. They will remember the silly skit about including others and making room for another person.

Thank you for your part in making this experience happen after a difficult year of kids not being together.

Your thoughts, prayers and donations made Hollis Crossings a success, our 20th year!
