What is a Partner Congregation?
 

As a Partner Congregation you not only are actively providing extra space for your congregation, but for the whole KC metro area.

As a Partner Congregation:

  • Your congregations owns the 153 acres of land and buildings that make up Hollis Renewal Center.
  • You have a say in the mission and vision of this ministry.
  • Members of you congregation may serve on the Hollis Board of Directors.
  • You receive gift certificates for Hollis use based on annual congregational gifts.
  • Listing on the Hollis web site, for a current list click here.

Core Responsibilities for Partner Congregations:

  • Subscribe to the Hollis Mission Statement
  • Donate annually to the Hollis Operating Budget
  • Designate a Hollis advocate. This person has both voice and vote at the annual meeting and is a point person for Hollis to communicate to your congregation.

In addition, Partner Congregations may:

  • Are encouraged to use Hollis at least twice per year.
  • Provide Board leadership.
  • Arrange informational presentations at their congregation
  • Help recruit volunteers
  • Supply items on the Hollis Wish List
