CHILI COOK-OFF

Sunday, October 21, 5-8 PM at the Hollis Lodge will be the site again of our annual Chili Cook off and Live Auction.  Cost is $10 per person or $30 per family.  Get in free by bringing a pot of chili to share and enter.  Chili pots will be voted on by the attendees with donations to Hollis.  The chili that raises the most money is the winner, giving the contest the adage: perhaps not the best chili wins, but the best supported.  So, bring your friends.  Live music, homemade pies, beer and "lutheran" lemonade bring a festive mood that is suitable for families.  Donated art, trips and other items make up the live auction.  We conclude the evening with a short, quiet worship using the Holden Evening Prayer, thanking God for whom makes Hollis possible.
